Welcome to my guide! In this guide, I will cover the most commonly used and the most effective K-Style techniques. Thank you for those who read this guide and I hope you have found it useful. Feel free to leave comments or suggestions. Background Information: K-Style is an abbreviation of Korean Style! This style has been first introduced in K-Gunz.
Note:
* It takes time and practice to perform K-Style moves, so be patient if you have just started.
* Having melee weapon (sword or kodachis) is required to perform these moves
Basic Techniques
Silent Step: Jump > Slash > Dash
A move commonly used to travel silently
Light Step (LS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Dash
This move is not an effective move in game play because it is very risky. However, it prepares you for the Butterfly Step.
Butterfly Step (BF): Jump > Dash > Slash > Block
This is a great move considering it is easy to learn and highly effective during game play if it is used properly. This move enables you to move quickly, attack, and defend in one jump.
Slash Shot (SS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Change to Gun > Shoot
I suggest everybody to learn Slash Shot; it will make it much easier when learning Half Step. This move is very useful in game, but you would have to get used to the aiming.
Wall Cancel: Face towards the wall > Jump > Dash > Slash > Repeat
This is a basic technique to climb walls. You can keep yourself in the air. This move can be used to climb walls, dodge bullets, and aerial attacks.
Quick Medding: Walk towards the wall > Med Kit 1 > Drop > Med Kit 2 > Drop > Repeat
This move is used because it cuts out the delay time; giving you much faster healing results.
Advanced Techniques
Double Butterfly Step (DBF): Jump > Dash > Slash > Block > Jump > Slash > Block
This is an advanced version of Butterfly Step. It is highly effective in game play if it is used properly.
Half Step (HS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Change to Gun > Shoot > Dash
The second dash is executed when your gun is out. This dash is silent; it will have no dashing sound. Half Step is an advanced version of Slash Shot which this move gives a better exit flow for you to execute your next move.
Flash Step (FS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Change to Gun > Change to Melee > Repeat
This technique is usually used to wall climb. It can be seen as an advanced version of Wall Cancel.
Reload Shot (RS): Gun 1 > Shoot > Reload > Change to Gun 2 > Shoot > Reload
This move enables you to shoot constantly; cutting down the amount of delay time. It is highly effective in game.
Insta-Fall: Uppercut (right click) > Block > Jump > Slash > Block
The enemy will fall right back to the ground after being uppercutted. It will be difficult for the enemies to safe fall because they are not thrown into the air. It will be difficult executing this move because the timing has to be nearly perfect each time.
Reload Slash Shot (RSS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Change to Gun > Shoot > Reload
Basically a Slash Shot with the reload after the shot to give a better exit flow.
Reload Half Step (RHS): Jump > Dash > Slash > Change to Gun > Shoot > Reload > Dash
It will give you better exit flow for you to execute your next move because the reload after the shot will cut out the delay animation. It is one of the most effective move in the game.
Extra Techniques
Wall Run: Walk (towards the wall at an angle) > Jump (Press your spacebar)
Multiple Wall Run: Wall Run > Jump > Slash > Dash at the wall at an angle > Jump X2(Tap your spacebar twice)
This move may be difficult at first, but you will get used to it.
Gun Massive: Charge Massive > Gun (Get your gun out before the Massive fully charges)
Click this link for a picture: https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img340/6...massivecf3.jpg
You can shoot while you have your gun out, and you can switch back to sword having the chance to massive right away. Your gun will glow as seen in the picture, but you are the only one who can see it glowing.
Massive:
These massive techniques are used to break through your enemies block.
Reverse Massive: Add some spin as you massive, such as doing a 180 degrees turn.
Sky Massive: Add some spin like Reverse Massive and massive at the sky
Block:
Ground Block: Block (Looking at the ground)
Apparently, Ground Blocking is the only way to block Sky Massive
Sky Block Block (Looking at the sky)
Sky Block blocks almost all of your enemies massive
Tips:
* Try starting out the moves slowly, step by step, instead of mashing the buttons
* Practice in a flat surface
* Try using the moves in every game you play
* Make combos! Mix it up! Don't let your enemies predict your next move!
* Find a right keyboard setting that is best suitable for you
* Practice! Practice! =]
